The new office building for the Medico Foundation fulfills all goals important to a long-term, socially-oriented investor.
The freestanding cube, about 25 meters per side and 28 meters tall, features a clinker brick façade with a square grid, protruding bands between floors, and neutral-colored protective glazing, reminiscent of classic loft buildings. The nine levels (including basement with parking, ground floor, and seven upper stories) accommodate all the foundation’s needs. Spaces are flexible, and environmental and user friendliness are realized through details like the exclusive use of local woods.
